History & His  Story

 Mark is a real person. He still gets a chuckle when people around town call him "Tattoo Mark", instead of Mark... The reason the shop is called Tattoo Mark's is not because of ego, but because when he founded the shop in 1995 he did not have the $200 to file for a fictitious name.  No one helped him, or handed him money.  The local government did not support him, and fought against him for years.  

  This man lives for what he does, and he is really fucking good at it.  After 25 years he knows what not to do, which is just one more distinguishing attribute.   He does not bother with social media, and has no idea what his "yelp" rating is.  Most of Mark's business is from word of mouth.  You will not hear him bash any other artist, even the shit talking, coat tail riding phonies who deserve it. 

  Mark will spend all the time you need to bring to life exactly what you are after.  Whether you want the Sistine Chapel on your back, or a butterfly on your ankle you will be treated like a rock star.  Your "cover up", is a blank canvas to him.
